Fred Astaire was one of the world’s greatest dancers of the twentieth century. Gene Kelly, another wonderful dancer said of Fred ‘the history of dance on film begins with Astaire’ and others like the famous ballet star Rudolf Nureyev, Broadway choreographer Jerome Robbins, entertainer Sammy Davis Jr and even Michael Jackson acknowledge the importance and influence that Fred had on dance, particularly in film.
A Fine Romance pays tribute to this wonderful man, his life on stage and his ‘romances’ with his many leading ladies. Come and join us for a sensational hour of song and dance - we would love to see you at one of our performances.
